In the month of November, the Benavides Bengals will be participating in the Pennies for Patients Fundraising event for the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest non-profit health organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers. The Pennies for Patients program is for elementary schools that would like to support the mission to create a world without cancer by conducting a fundraising campaign. By participating in Pennies for Patients, elementary schools receive a comprehensive, experiential K-8 STEM curriculum to incorporate into their fundraising campaign or beyond.

Due to our snow day on Monday, November 26th, students can wear PJ’s and/or bright colors for Tuesday, November 27th. Thank you!

MONDAYS
November 26, December 3, December 10 • Pajama Penny Day: donate pennies and wear your favorite pajamas.

TUESDAYS
November 27, December 4, December 11 • Neon Colors Nickels Day: donate nickels and wear bright colors.

WEDNESDAYS
November 28, December 5, December 12 • Dazzling Dimes Day: donate dimes and wear something shiny.

THURDAYS
November 29, December 6, December 13 • Crazy Quarters Day: donate quarters and wear crazy hair and/or socks.

FRIDAYS
November 30, December 7, December 14 • Team for Leukemia: donate coins and wear your favorite sports jersey or color

The class with the greatest donation will have free lunch sponsored by Olive Garden!
