WEATHER UPDATE for tonight’s Homecoming games

Tonight’s Varsity Soccer game will be played at 4:00 p.m. today vs Oswego East.

The Varsity football game scheduled for this evening has been postponed due to weather. The East High Athletic Department is making arrangements for this game to be rescheduled, possibly tomorrow. As soon as information becomes available, we will pass this along.

An update from our East High athletic department on the games today:

Boys Soccer vs Oswego East will be moved up to a 4pm start.

Football game vs Streamwood is being moved up to 6pm to try to get it in.

East High School will celebrate Homecoming Week the week of September 23-28.

Highlights include a Powder Puff game on Thursday, September 26, at 7:30 p.m., held after the sophomore game, on the Roy E. Davis Field at Ellsworth Hill Stadium.

Then on Friday, September 27, an after-school event will take place from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. The family event will feature carnival food and games, face painting and henna designing.

At 4:30 p.m. the Tomcat varsity boys soccer team faces off against Oswego East. At 7:30 p.m. the varsity football team will take on Streamwood High. Both games are free for EASD 131 students with ID.  All elementary and middle school students are required to enter with an adult.

General admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students. Again, both games are free for EASD 131 students with ID.

The Tomcats’ Homecoming Dance, “A Night on the Red Carpet,” takes place Saturday, September 28th, from 7 -10 p.m. Student tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased during lunch periods from September 16-27.
