The Benavides STEAM Academy invites the school community to participate in the Pennies for Patients campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Students show their spirit and can bring in spare to change to raise money children with cancer. Money raised through Pennies for Patients gets invested in groundbreaking cancer research, patient education and support services, and advocacy efforts aimed at making treatments more accessible and affordable for families.

Dazzling Dimes Day: donate dimes and wear something shiny

TUESDAYS
December 10th & December 17th
Crazy Quarters Day: donate quarters and wear crazy hair and/or socks

WEDNESDAY
December 4th, December 11th, December 18th
Team for Leukemia: donate coins and wear your favorite sports jersey or color

THURSDAY
December 5th & December 12th
Pajama Penny Day: donate pennies and wear your favorite pajamas

FRIDAYS
December 6th & December 13th
Neon Colors Nickels Day: donate nickels and wear bright colors

The class with the greatest donation will have free lunch sponsored by Olive Garden!
