A BIG Benavides thank you goes to…Central Michigan University! During the week of December 17th, we had the privilege of partnering with collegiate undergrad students from CMU as part of their community outreach program, which focuses on bring science education to students of all ages. The CMU students facilitated and supported a variety of STEAM activities with our children which included:

• coding with Botley the Robot
• engineering with Strawbees
• creating Marshmallow Towers
• building playgrounds
• constructing robots with Cubelets
• practicing math and technology with Osmo Pizza Kitchen.

It was a great educational experience for both parties and we welcome back our CMU friends for future collaboration.
